Паровая турбина - это тепловой двигатель в котором пар , нагретый до высокой температуры , вращает вал двигателя без помощи шатуна, поршня и коленчатого вала.

В паровой турбине есть диск, который насажен на вал двигателя, лопасти, и сопла из которых поступает пар. Пар оказывает давление на лопасти, которое приводит их в движение.
