How would you explain these facts to foreigners?
1)Why do Russians build such collossal things as the Cathedral of Jesus Christ the Savior, the Kremin's Palace of Congresses, the Rossiya Hotel in Moscow, the Mother Russia Monument in Volgograd?
2)Why don't Russians trim the grass, bushes, or trees in the street, or even in the park? Everything just grows wild/
3)Why are winter posidelki so popular with Russians?
4)Why do Russian people often gather around the samovar on holidays or when guests come to their places?
5)Why do Russian men wear shapki and women platki even in summer?
6)Why do Russians take off shoes and leave them outside the door?
