То есть, much мы употребляем с НЕИСЧИСЛЯЕМЫМ существительным, т.е. если мы не можем посчитать, сколько штук например, то употребляем much. А many, наоборот, употребляем с исчисляемым существительным, когда мы можем посчитать, сколько штук чего-то...
