My city of Atyrau is situated in two parts of the world - in Europe and in Asia.
The Ural river is a natural water boundary between Asia and Europe.
The Caspian sea and the Ural river rich in fish, and the heart of the oil. And so the main riches of the territory of red fish and caviar, oil and gas.
The cultural life of the Atyrau region is rich . There are the drama theatre named after M. Utemisov, a regional Philharmonic society behalf of Н.Жантурина,historical and local lore Museum, Museum of decorative-applied art.
