Andreikhariton: Many- только с исчисляемыми существительными (There are many children in the park. В парке много детей) much- только с неисчисляемыми существительными (There is much orange juice on the floor. На полке много бутылок сока) и a lot of не имеет разницы с каким ставить( there are a lot of children in the park/There is a lot of water on the floor) С тренировками (годами обучения или типа того)
