Make up a story about an item or a person that can best represent Russia (про матрёшку)

I have a nice toy guest.. The label says it's name is Matrena and it was born in Russia. It is a set of dolls placed inside one another. It is made of wood and looks like a girl wearing a long colourful dress and a beautiful kerchief round her head. It has the form of a small barrel. The most amazing thing is that it has seven more similar dolls hidden inside each other.Each doll consists of two parts - the top and the bottom. When you open the top of the biggest doll, you will find a smaller copy inside. Opening the second one you will discover the third copy which is a smaller size. The last one is the smallest of all and it looks like a newborn baby!
