У кожного є своя мрія, адже, як було сказано колись одним мудрецем, якщо у людини є незбагненна мета, до якої він прагне, то саме завдяки цьому він і відчуває себе живим. І це дійсно так, адже ми живемо своїми мріями і бажаємо, щоб вони збулися, а коли це відбувається, то у нас з'являються нові задуми. Тому мрію можна сміливо порівняти з квитком у майбутнє і кожен, звичайно ж, хоче скористатися ним.

Хтось бажає стати актрисою, хтось співачкою, спортсменом або балериною. У мене, як, втім, і у всіх людей теж є власна мета. І я завжди думаю про неї з завмиранням душі. Безумовно, вона не одна.

По-перше, я мрію присвятити свій вільний час подорожей. В майбутньому це буде моїм улюбленим хобі. І я вважаю, що це прекрасно, коли у людини є можливість побачити світ, познайомитися з прекрасним, побачити краси з усього світу, дізнатися нове, про що раніше не доводилося чути. І кожен раз, коли буде випадати можливість, то я хочу відвідувати завжди різні країни, але я не буду просто милуватися природою, краєвидами або архітектурою. Ні, я мрію, дізнатися все про те, як живуть люди в чужих краях, яке у них світогляд, їхні звичаї, які в них національні страви, що вони віддають перевагу в якості духовної їжі та багато іншого.

Таким чином, для мене подорожі – це не курортний відпочинок, де люди їдуть в інші країни, щоб полежати на пляжі і сфотографуватися біля місцевих визначних пам'яток.

Моя мета, насамперед, пізнати світ, навчитися чомусь новому, адже життя дається нам лише раз і ми повинні постаратися спробувати і дізнатися все, що нам цікаво.

My favourite room

Тhe room in
our house (l) ______is our kitchen. Perhaps the kitchen is the most important
room in many houses, but it is particularly so in our house because it's not

I have so many happy
memories of times spent there: ordinary daily events such as making breakfast
on dark, cold winter mornings for children (4) ______, before sending them off
to school; or special occasions such as homecomings or cooking Christmas
dinner. Whenever we have a party, people gravitate with their drinks to the
kitchen. It always ends up the fullest and noisiest room in the house.

So what does this
special room look like? It's quite big, but not huge. It's big enough to have a
good-sized table in the centre, (5) ______. There is a large window above the
sink, looking out onto two apple trees in the garden. There's a big, old
cooking stove at one end, and at the other end a wall with a huge notice board
(6) ________of our lives, past, present, and future: a school photo of the kids;
a postcard from Auntie Nancy, (7) ________ to Australia; the menu from a
take-away Chinese restaurant; an invitation to a wedding that we're going to
next Saturday; a letter from a friend we haven't seen for years. Our entire

The
front door is seldom used in our house, only by strangers. All our friends use
the back door which meansthey come straight into the kitchen and join in
whatever is happening there. The kettle goes on immediately and then we all sit
round the table, drinking tea and putting the world to rights! Without doubt
some of the happiest times of my life have been spent in our kitchen.
