When a lot of people live in the same place and talk in the same way, they use
a language. There are a lot of words in each language. English is one of the richest
languages in the world. Nowadays people speak English in different parts of the
world. It has become the global language of the planet. It is very helpful to know
English when you travel or take part in some international conferences. Practically
everybody will be able to understand you. But if one person speaks only French
and some other person speaks only German, they won't be able to understand each
other. In such situations English can help if they both know English.
