Надо, согласно образцу, переделать предложения, используя конструкцию all of / most of и т.д. + whom / which. Очевидно, что whom используется для одушевленных, which для неодушевленных, а первая часть конструкции берется из оригинального предложения. Конструкция ставится сразу после определяемого слова.

• 2. There were a lot of people at the party, only a few of whom I had met before.
• 3. I have sent him two letters, neither of which has arrived.
• 4. Norman won £20 000, half of which he gave to his parents.
• 5. Ten people, none of whom were suitable, applied for the job.

Задание 2

Надо по смыслу соединить части предложений и заменить this на which.

• 2. Jill isn't on the phone, which makes it difficult to contact her.
• 3. They said they didn't have any money, which was perfectly true.
• 4. I haven't got a password, which means I can't leave the country.
• 5. He offered to let me stay in his house, which was very nice of him.

Задание 3

Надо использовать оборот с -ing согласно образцу. На практике это, очевидно, значит, что мы ставим определяющее слово в форме -ing сразу после определяемого слова.
