Ахемениды стали одной из самых могущественных династий в мире того времени, а их империя стала одной из самых развитых в мире в области культуры, науки и технологий. Империя Ахеменидов была основана Киром Великим, который известен своей политикой религиозной терпимости и культурного разнообразия. Ахемениды также были известны своей разветвленной сетью дорог, которая облегчала торговлю и общение внутри империи.
